In March 2025, a Joint Declaration was signed between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Albania, following a meeting between Mr. Nasser Bourita and the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Igli Hasani.

Within the framework of the document, many issues were agreed upon that contribute to the development of relations between the countries, among which Morocco decided to abolish visa formalities for Albanian citizens traveling for short periods and undertakes to complete the procedures for implementing this exemption in order to promote tourism, exchange between the populations and strengthen bilateral relations.

Therefore, one can count on the establishment of a visa-free regime between the countries in the future.
